Publishers Weekly says...
For yoga fans who’d like to test their prowess at home but are feeling unsure of where to begin and how to proceed, Dollar and Euston offer a handily designed guide to the whole process. Beginning with instructions on how to set up a yoga space at home—all you really need is a quiet spot with a hard floor—their book provides 31 possible routines (a.k.a., practices) that range from 10 minutes to 45 minutes each. The spiral bound book is designed with a split in the middle, so that readers can keep the practice list on one side while flipping through the pose instructions on the other. There are plenty of photos and clear advice to be found here. Novices are sure to find the book’s indices (by time, theme and body area) helpful, but advanced home yoga practitioners probably won’t need any help figuring out that a good restoring practice always ends in [savasana, or] corpse pose.

I sold over 100 copies of Yoga Your Way in a 9 month period last year in my little town, and those who have bought the book absolutely love it. I have gotten nothing but praise from students who report that they have successfully began to practice yoga on a daily basis with the help of your book. "It's so user friendly" is the phase I hear more than any other when describing your book. I think the popularity of the book comes from the ingenious way the book is laid out along with the timed routines.

I love this book! Its design and format makes it easy to use for personal practice. In addition, the photographs and written explanations make the book accessible to the novice student. I have used this book for my own practice and have been using it in my beginning yoga classes at the University of Tennessee. I have received nothing but positive feedback from my students. I highly recommend Yoga Your Way.

Yoga Your Way is great! As a yoga practitioner, I love the suggested sequences when I come in after a full day's work and am too tired to create my own. As a teacher, to have the use of props clearly explained helps me help my students. Also, my students love how, in their home practice, they have a great photograph of each pose with a clear explanation of the important points to remember in the pose. But maybe the largest delight is how Cindy's wisdom, personality, and inspiration come through in the commentary throughout the book. No disappointments in this unique book.

Yoga Your Way ... is popular over here! I have written a review for Dipika (IYI Maida Vale's magazine) and my student did one for NELIYI News.... Yoga Matters is a website (and local shop) run by a local yogi who stocks your book, and says he recommends it to beginners when they ask for advice on what to buy. ... I am delighted to have it to suggest as many of my students ask for a practical book to help them with their practice, especially at this time of year.
From the review: [YYW] is...professionally produced, and aims to provide an easy-to-use illustrated guide to practice at home. Its hardback spiral bound A4 format, with the sheets split in two - one side for the programme, and one for the detail of how to do a pose - is so useful. You can look at any combination simultaneously - marvellously practical! The selection charts at the back of the book - time/theme, theme/time, and body area - help you chose a practice for the amount of time you have available and the type of work that you want to do today. I recommend it to all my students who find it very approachable, handy and useful. They particularly like that it is stoutly bound and stands up well to daily use. A student who works in a bookshop ordered a copy but got one of the same name by a different author. She could not see what the fuss was about until she got the right one, and then instantly understood - no comparison she said.
Excellent value for money, and the acid test is that my students are now practising more!

Yoga Your Way is (by far) the most user friendly and thoughtfully designed yoga manual to appear on the market. The authors have paid careful attention to detail, insuring that the information presented is comprehensive, helpful, & presented in such a way that anyone can create a daily practice to fit his/her unique needs. Namaste! I've examined and used a large number of yoga manuals, and I feel sure that you will love this book! Its unique and handily-designed format goes far toward making it the only yoga guide you'll ever need. Ideal for both beginners and experienced practitioners. What you get for the very low price of $12.95 (Canada C$19.95) is incredible! All your questions about yoga are answered by the authors, who really know their stuff. Outstanding photos (from different angles, many in multiple "sequence style" to help you perfect the fluidity of moving poses) with explanatory instructions and pointers make it so easy for you to customize your home yoga practice to your own requirements ... and stick with it!
Spiral-bound split-page format allows easy use and reference for a specially selected core group of "44 poses" (Iyengar tradition, the basis for many yoga styles today) and "31 practice sequences" (varying in length from 10-90 minutes, and ranging from vigorous to restorative). Absolutely excellent, very clear and well-thought-out - yet detailed - explanations and background notes fill you in on every aspect of your yoga practice.
The volume also contains an All About Yoga section, a great Glossary and assorted Practice Selection Charts to help you craft and vary your yoga routine, while ensuring that you get the benefits you desire.
The wealth of information contained here is worth the cover price many times over. Just examine this book at your bookstore - turn to any page and read just a bit - and I think you'll wind up eagerly buying it, amazed at the value. Recommend it to your yoga-loving friends, and give it as an economical gift to your non-yoga-practicing friends to get them started on a beautiful life and health journey! They'll love you for it!

Yoga Your Way: Customizing Your Home Practice is the book many of us have been waiting for! The clever premise of split pages and spiral binding assures its user friendliness. The information is detailed with clear instructions and pictures both for the classic poses and for modifications with props. The sequences are well-rounded and are structured around themes of standing and balancing, extending, opening, twisting, and restoring. The questions and answers and words of encouragement are also helpful. This is also one of the few books that features sequences in lengths from 10 to 90 minutes. This book will be a classic!
Wonderful User Friendly Yoga Book, January 5, 2005

I have many yoga books and I find this one the easiest to practice from. The spiral binding and being able to move the left and right pages separately make it so easy to use. On the left page is a practice seuqence and on the right page is one of 44 different poses. There are 31 practice sequences that range from 10 to 90 minutes. On the back of each asana page are several modifications with various props. The author is an Iyengar teacher and the instructions are very detailed. I highly recommend this as a way to get started on a home practice or to get some new ideas for those who already have a home practice.
